Responsible for chairing executive board meetings and leading the other board members. Manages the Administrative Cabinet that runs annual special events. Ensures PSU staff are properly supported. Represents the organization in larger university and community-wide efforts.

Goals: To highlight, uplift, and advance intersectional perspectives within the Queer community.

Ally Esteban (they/them)

External Vice-President

Industrial & Systems Engineering

Responsible for managing the External Cabinet. Oversees graphics, marketing efforts, social media, tabling, outreach, collaborations, special events, and task forces. Responsible for communicating with the discussion groups within PSU.

Goals: To strengthen the LBGTQ+ community at UF and conduct outreach so that students know of the opportunities and resources around campus.

Robin Anstett (they/them)

Internal Vice-President

Computer Science

Responsible for managing the Internal Cabinet, programming, and internal affairs. This includes, but is not limited to, managing all planning and programming aspects of General Body Meetings and education of staff and leadership.

Goals: To create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all people in our GBMs and build connections with our local queer community.

Tikiri Ekanayake (she/her)

Treasurer

Data Science / Japanese

Responsible for managing the Finance Cabinet. Manages funds allocated from Student Government, navigates UF Student Government Finance policy, creates budget requests for future semesters, and reaches out to potential sponsors to establish alternative funding methods.

Goals: To ensure all of our finances are organized and create awesome fundraisers for y’all to come to!

Gabi Prager (they/them)

Secretary

Psychology (Pre-Law) / Business Administration

Responsible for managing the Communications Cabinet, as well as creating agendas for and taking minutes of Executive Board meetings. Serve as a link between PSU co-organizations, programs, and sub-organizations via the Inside Pride Newsletter and the PrideUF website.

Goals: To use Inside Pride, our newsletter, and our website to connect queer organizations and students at UF.

Ember Lieber (they/them)

Executive Director of the Queer Cultivation Program (QCP)

Sociology / Spanish

Responsible for managing the QCP Cabinet. Runs the mentor-mentee pairing and social program under Pride Student Union. QCP aims to foster a sense of community through mentorship and a variety of events ranging from workshops and mentor/mentee events to a retreat in the Spring semester, all while maintaining a safe space where all are welcome.

Goals: To establish a solid foundation for QCP and make sure we have an awesome mentorship experience this year!
